Mk5 gti to r32 read end conversion.
« on: February 25, 2021, 02:46:04 am »
Looking to do an r32 rear end conversion on my gti and just wondering what the situation is with getting an exhaust to fit?

I know this may have been covered but not for quite a while and was just wanting to see what the latest advice was..

I’ve read that standard r32 exhausts won’t fit so was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to buy one from or if I’d be better getting something custom done?

Cheers

I've seen there's a place in Scotland that does the rear bumper conversion painted to the colour you want. I cant remember their name but the same place that does the replacement front wings.

Thanks guys! I am yet to get the bumper but will be looking to do it soon.
Is there anything that needs to be done with parking sensors?

Nope,
Lower valance replacement is plug and play. You may need to re tidy cables etc, but other than that it’s a piss easy job
