I took a pic of my dash and sent to the seller in aliexpress, he recommended I buy https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.html?spm=a2g0s.9042647.0.0.469a4c4dzv7k5g&orderId=8127093897738746&productId=32888260904 along with the RCD330.

Thanks - was there a reason why you went for the 330 and not the 360 Pro?

I'm looking for a friend and think I might be missing something!

I think I did end up with the 360 pro as as far as I could tell it is pretty much the same unit. I just did not want to complicate things as most people speed read posts. It is a great unit I have Waze running on it and all my calls, texts etc are right there. No issues at all. Two of my fiends also bought them and love them.

Thanks - seriously considering this as it really modernises functionality.

Just need to check regarding Gateway etc - it used to be simple a few year back when all I needed to do was swap the live and switched live pins over (yellow and red)!!

finally installed the RCD330 unit all went well, that is until I switched it on and only the left passenger speaker is actually producing any sound. Gonna have to take it out again to see if I clipped everything in properly. Anyone had this problem?

Took it all apart and reconnected again and now it works. My suggestion to anyone doing this, test it when all the trim is out and don't be a softlad like me and put it back together and then switch it on.

Hi there. I am about to buy a Kenwood dmx5020bts and I was wondering if you had steering wheel controls or you had to buy a separate controller module. Thanks

While we’re here, can anyone recommend a decent DAB aerial, I brought a cheap 15 quid one off eBay and it’s awful anywhere there’s not a really strong signal.

I’ve got no idea what mine is? Perhaps from a mk6? It has no DAB, Bluetooth and is pretty dull!
Any recommendations  for replacement with CarPlay either oem retrofit or aftermarket.
