Mk5 4 motion
« on: December 01, 2021, 03:06:03 pm »
Members, Hi,

I’m Sapper a veteran and I’ve just got my hands on a Mk5 4 motion Golf GTi.

I’m wanting to take it to Bosnia where the roads are terrible so thought about fitting better tyres, all terrain, however these will increase the tyre diameter by about 3 inches.

So I was looking to see if anyone has done a body or suspension lift? I think I might also need to flare out the wheel arches to accommodate the extra tread.

Any advice info ideas appreciated.

You would probably need the suspension parts from the B6 Passat Alltrack if you want to raise it up a bit.

Thanks for that nugget of info, I’m guessing these parts are compatible?
