No idea what that is!  Looks like a broken up washer or something!

Hopefully something that was dropped in by accident, rather than something internally breaking.

On the invoice it says ‘Possible bearing damage’ Think it’s more of a disclaimer than a factual diagnosis.

Or it’s something from past repairs… who knows!

If the fragments stick to a magnet, it won't be main/rod/thrust bearing remains.
