As mentioned in my Edition 30 topic, I bought a sweet "20 Years" mk3 GTI 16V❤️
I'll go on from here when I got back from Madrid to Antwerp... a 1600 km trip... and without any hiccups 👍🏻👍🏻
Put it on the Quickjacks and give it a good inspection 🙈

Next up were some new Hankook tires and an alignment, the old Pirelli's were at their end...

Then the trip to Croatia 🇭🇷 started...

















And finally arrived home...

Next up is a good wash and get it on Croatian numberplates...😁😍🇭🇷

Oh and it took an other + / - 1600 km under its belt👊🏻❤️👍🏻 Without any drop of oil burnt😍❤️ The only thing I saw, was that is "sweating" a bit on the oil drain plug... but hey it's 26 years old and it covered half of Europe in one week❤️😍👍🏻

There are some hick ups conserning import of a car before 1999 here in Croatia 🇭🇷 🙄 some stupid law... but more of that when I get back home in Belgium... the saga will continue...😅

Wow - That's like a 1 year old UK car - still has engine undertray, really helps keep the engine bay clean and helps warm up a lot on the ABF.
Only spotted the front fogs in the bumper look odd to me - usually they are full silver

very nice..... i had an 8v mk3 in silver too.... looks lovely.
have a really bad itch for another vr6, which I had that after the 8v......... but sadly that will have to wait as house and bigger family take priority

These days it's NOT so easy to find a good taken care example!! But they are out there Some owners are asking silly money for nice taken care examples...
I was searching for 2 years😅 and there were 2 which slipped trough my fingers😫
One VR and one 16V... the sound of the VR6 is 
I also know what you're talking about... family, house, work... been there too my friend😘😅

Holy smokes that's clean!
It's fairly low mileage (kilometerage?) but it's still been used which I always think is a bonus.

I bet VW's own museum car isn't that clean. Great find!
