My old car and the new one

(1/5) > >>

Nickyboy:
Had it for 4 days, loving having power from so low in the revs  :happy2:

Not as good feedback on the bends as the Civic but it's a small price to pay for all the pro's vs cons.

Standard apart from a GIAC remap but I think the DV is shagged as it doesn't boost well all the time in 300bhp mode so picking up a revision D tomorrow.

My Alpine IDA x305 will be transplanted next week when the parts arrive.

Paid £15k for the car, 07 plate, it has armrest and iPod as the only extras besides the paint. 27800 miles.

Plan to keep it standard.

For now.

Very nice CTR! My friend had one and I drove it all the time, but found the mid-corner feel to be pretty numb to be honest...

That said, I'd get a CTR in a heartbeat if i wanted another hot hatch!

MAT ED30:
a quick map and a few little tweeks to the chassis and it good bye type r  :driver: trust me i have owned a few of those type r civics   and worked for Honda too

Top Cat:
Very nice.  :pomppomp:

I think your first port of call though is getting the springs fixed in your house

Nickyboy:
For the first few days I was trying to VTEC everywhere, changing down to rev from 6K which is obviously pointless in the Golf.

And tonight, I drove the Civic for the first time in about a week, and I was driving it like the golf, flooring it from 2K RPM and moaning about the lack of torque  :signLOL:

Springs in the house? Yeah I spent alot of time in the kitchen which is on the right hand side  :signLOL:
