Water Leak
rubdub:
So after a week of rain and sun hourly cycles here in Ireland the past week or so, I got into the car and noticed a funky smell in it. Initially putting it down to the pong off my runners, I soon realised I had a water leak somewhere!
After a bit of testing by dripping some water in the gutter of an open sunroof, I noticed some drips from under the dash on the drivers and passenger side, and very little coming through the drainage in the bulkead. So it looks like both the sunroof gutter runoffs have disconnected from the piping. Hoping to have a look at this next week, but wondering what the best option is? Is the tubing easy enough to pick up and not expensive enough.. or should I just try to reattach the tubing to the grommet in the bulkhead? Just concerned that the tubing may have shrunk over time. also how much of a pain in the a** job is this?
After this where else whould I be looking for leaks? I noticed a bit of mould on the two rear window seals and a little bit on one of the rear seatbelts when I pull it out enough. Does anyone have the part number for the rear window seals and/or a guide to replacing them?
Any advice greatly appreciated!

I would just check all the seals to start with, which I'm sure you've done already. Next I would probs just sit in and ask someone to jet wash the f*** out of it and see where it leaks first

Yep that's the plan, just want to tget the sunroof draintubes sorted first so I know at least one leak is fixed before I do a more comprhensive test
Just looking to find if it's better to try and fix the disconnected drain tubes or replace completely

Hopefully the sunroof drains are just disconnected from their rubber grommet in the door hinge area.
I wouldn't worry about the mould, just a strategic spray with surface cleanser and it should go away - but prevention would help, check the drain holes in the bottom of the door are clear - or it may just be as simple as where you park may not too sheltered, allowing moisture to linger.

So after a bit of fiddling with the sunroof drainage grommets in the bulkhead a load of water and built up dirt came out into my hand. This seems to have stopped the leaking into the front footwell.
I was probably too keen to use the meguiars air freshner mist spray, but waiting on its aroma to wear off before I know if the dampl smell is defintely gone!
Still have to check the rear draining points, but hopefully this weekend!
Thanks guys!
