Edition 35 reflex silver rare?

<< < (2/2)

Yeah I agree about the rarity - but a normal mk6 GTI is exactly the same as the ed35 in terms of an upgrade as it’s the same car. When I was buying it was the thirsty engine that put me off it. Plus no interior difference to a standard GTI. Shame they never altered the interior like they did with the ed30

pudding:
Don't forget the ED35 has the 8P S3 engine in it, whereas the regular GTI only has a K03 turbo on it.  So a much bigger power advantage to the ED35 when remapped.

I didn't realise the ED35 was otherwise the same.  A pretty lame effort on VW's part then!  I don't like the ED35's wheels at all. The GTI looks a lot better.

assume its this car : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225135679969?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2wXr6F1CQDO&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

not really sure its possible to verify the claims.
anecdotally im sad and track the ed35 market on ebay and silver are pretty rare (compared to white, red and darkgrey) , ive seen some blue japanese imports (which also get the cool seat options!).

unless you really love silver , shouldnt really be a value thing to any great extent (well it wouldnt be for me)
more on condition of the car etc
id want to see the area above the gearlever to see the installed options. (reverse sensors (doesnt look like it has it) , DDC , autopark etc)
of note the wheels are 18 inch watkins glen , not 19 inch glendales .....

Did you ever manage to check those extra options in person? And did the seller confirm anything about the car’s condition or history?
