Emphasis on replacing with new bolts - when I was replacing mine the bolts were already damaged from a previous dodgy replacement and I ended up stripping one of them completely, requiring a welder to get it off :scared:

I did mine recently on the driveway, using drive on ramps. Didn't take the wheel or liner off. It was manageable but needed just an extra half a foot in height to be comfortably be able to work.
No issues with the access to the part the top bolt you have to work a bit blind I used a 5mm 1/4" hex bit on an 50mm extension, was just the right length. when refitting I hand started 2 to snug to hold the DV in place before fitting the 3rd then tightening.
My bolts looked quite new still as my DV was a Rev G but still failed. Still had threadlock on them and seem okay so far.
Tip for getting the connector off is to push it in whilst pushing the tab down to then get it off.
