Rear diffusor options

(1/2) > >>

Marticus:
Hi guys, quick question.

Does anyone know of a slightly more aggressive rear diffusor that keeps the stock exhaust location?

Im finding loads of r32 style ones with dual exit exhaust but not seeing many options for the stock exit exhaust.

I found one from osir usa that looks good but dont want to ship from america if theres more local options.

Any suggestions?

Something like this?  https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,80359.msg834193.html#msg834193

No idea what make that is though, but shipping from the US may be the only option.  What is your beef with that?  I've had a shed load of stuff imported from there over the years with zero issues.

Yeah something exactly like that.

I'm not against buying from America, but shipping costs, import tax, and returns if needed are all more expensive / difficult.

If I could find one in Europe it would just be easier. But its looking like I may have to bite the bullet

pudding:
Yep, it bumps up the cost considerably.

What ever you buy in the states is + shipping + 4.5% duty + UK end handling fees + 20% VAT.

When I was importing stuff years ago, the exchange rate was over 2 bucks to a pound, duty on car parts was 3% and VAT 17.5%.   It's a very different world now.

Shipping via FedEx on a box that big would be at least £150 on their International Priority service.

There are aftermarket R32 bumper inserts that replaces the standard centre exit trim and allows the GTI exit.
