Hi all does anyone know if non genuine front wings are a good fit & quality or is it best to buy genuine wings?

Depends on your budget and how long you want to keep the car. Genuine are obviously better but are hideously expensive and you need to factor painting as well. I brought a pair from Lothian of EBay this summer for temporary use whilst I get the originals sprayed, they cost less than £200 for the pair painted and are a perfect fit and colour match. They feel a little more flimsy than the originals but not much, look good and are still on the car despite the others being done now.

I have fitted four Lothian wings to my/friends cars. All black, all good match.
If your car is a perfect low mileage example then maybe consider original wings and getting sprayed. But otherwise Lothian is great value.

Lothian ones will be fine so long as you don't have plans on keeping the car another 10 years. Then again, not even the genuine ones last 10 years
I would spray the inside of any replacement wing with U-Pol Raptor personally, and also the arch lip. That should buy you another few years life, maybe more. Once the paint chips and the factory e-coat gives in (Lothian ones probably aren't e-coated at all), it's just a matter of time before the rot spreads. Raptor will stop stones chipping the paint in the first place.
