(1/3) > >>

gillm:
as above . is there anything i can use ? needs to be easy to apply and last some time and not look rubbish and shiney like some do .

VC:
I use autoglym bumper care, works a treat and soaks in rather than leaving a shiny surface

NEWEY:
Boiled linseed oil work a treat on the mk2 and lasts at least a month. Started using it on the mk5 now too

keith:
If its exterior plastics then I favour Autosmart Trim Ultra cheap and durable, along the same lines as what newey added. Curing time takes a bit longer dependant on the weather/temp.

Tuffy:
Hi mate.

Aerospace 303 gives a nice natural finish. And chemical guys silk and shine does too  :happy2:
I find that if you srcub the plastic area in question with a fairly strong solution of apc and then dry before applying your chosen product will give you a far better finish.
Same applies to the tyres, i spray them with AG engine cleaner, scrub then rinse. You'll be amazed what comes off them, leavin you a nice base to apply your tyre dressing.
