DSG: Code 17100 (G182 Input Speed Sensor)

Hi all.
Scanned the car recently and this code came up - no other codes were stored
Car drives fine but naturally concerned by the code.

Any suggestions? Or is it a bite the bullet and pay to get it replaced (been quoted £600 inc fluid, filter and gasket)
