Mk5 gti swap

Alright guys, new to the forum. I’ve got a 1.4 gt sport that’s giving me a headache and a half. Timing out of place, inlet manifold flaps broken and possible broken pistons. I’ve found a couple mk5 gti engines and was thinking better to swap then fix all the current problems. Anyone got any advice on how much it would be and if it’s be worth it?

Let me know which one will hurt my bank more😃

I would just bin the 1.4 for as much money as you can and buy a GTI to be honest. You are looking at so much more than just an engine swap i can't see its worth the effort or money.
