New golf owner

Hello all. Just a quick post to say hi. Last week I went to look at a sensible middle aged man's car. I ended up buying a golf pirelli edition. Soon as I saw it all ideas of 50 mpg diesels went straight out the window. Only a few years ago we were talking at work and looking at them. No I'm driving to work in one. I have even brought a big car cleaning set. Something I haven't done since the late ninety. Looking forward to checking out what is on this site and hopefully learn a few things. That's all for now. Here is the only picture i have taken of it so far.

Enjoy. I've had mine for over 10 years and it has been a pleasure. They're fun to drive and practical. I've been up and down the country, moved houses, and smiled on many B roads over the years. And aside from replacing a couple of calipers, it hasn't caused me any grief at all.
