Looking at fitting some 17' Bola B1s to the mk5.

Looks like a pretty straight fit although I'm curious about the offset in centre bore. Looks like the B1's have a 72.6mm and the golfs if I'm correct in saying is 57.1mm is this just a case of chucking some plastic spigot rings on or is it more complex than this?

So long as the PCD is 5x112, then yep, all you need is spigot rings.  If they're a weird PCD like 5x114 and you have to use wobble bolts, naaah, move on and choose a different wheel.

Running 18" Crystal Silver Bola B1s on my VRS, I can confirm you need spigot rings, if you're buying them new send them a message that your require 57.1mm spigot rings. The ones I got with mine were plastic pink ones.
