Front brake upgrade to fit 17' monzas

Just went stage 1 with my gti and looking to upgrade the front brakes but will need to fit behind 17' Monzas. Wanted to fit the mk7 r brakes, anyone fitted these to 17' monzas or any suggestions for brakes that will fit?

MK7 PP brakes should fit with the 340mm discs, plug and play. I have them on mine but have the ED30 18s. I'm 90% sure they fit the 17s as you can get 17s on the GTI PP I believe.

100% will fit, running GTI PP fronts on mine with 17" Monzas

Thanks mate, I'm looking around to see if I can find a decent set 👌🏾 did u keep the stock brakes on the rear or did u upgrade them too?

Hello,

I've still got the stock rear brakes in place - not sure they are worth upgrading to be honest. I have considered it a few times but had new discs and pads 6,000 miles ago on the rear so doesn't make sense!!

The fronts however are a vast improvement.
