Please help. Enging cut out..... no start........

Hi everyone I would love some help or pointer as what to check.
I was driving yesterday and my golf is quite low. I hit a dip in the road and bottom out on the subfamily rather hard. The car instantly cut out and will not restart.
I've looked for a fuel cut off switch / inertia switch but dont seem to be one.
Any help would be very appreciated.
P,s anyone local to uxbridge, middlesex with vag com. That knows how to use it and how to change setting etc. Will pay obviously :)
