Mk5 GT TDI 2.0 Diesel. Front passenger door won’t open from outside nor inside.

Hello All,
I have recently bought a Mk5 5 door VW Golf GT TDI 2.0 diesel.
I have an issue with my front passenger side door, it won’t open from the inside or outside. Meaning I can’t take the door card or skin off to look at the mechanism. Any suggestions how I can get the door open? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mine packed up on my old Edition 30.

How I got it open was to punch the door with palm of hand where the lock is whilst unlocking/locking with the remote button.

It took bloody ages before it unlocked tbh! I have a mate who worked in a VW bodyshop and he said thats how they did it.

No official cheat code unfortunately.

Obviously only do it once you've got a replacement lock.
