Hi, has anyone here fitted a new core to there k04 turbo is it as easy as just fitting the core? does the turbo not need balancing and testing after? and where could i find instructions how to fit the core, im pretty confident as I've removed the old one my self so its just gonna be the reversal.

Yep.

No it's just the CHRA that needs balancing, which is done at the factory without the compressor and turbine housings attached anyway.

Pretty sure there'll be a youtube video somewhere.
