Retrofit aircon

Hi,
I have an early 2005 AXX engine car without aircon, is it possible to retrofit ? I'm sure the parts could be picked up cheaply, ]
Is it reasonably doable or just a bad idea ?

Probably more trouble than it's worth TBH.

Stupots:
Even going from standard AC to Climatronic is a nightmare job. I cant imagine what starting from scratch is like.
