Down on power
Dcra:
Hi all,
New here. I've recently acquired this 2005 gti. Totally stock, very clean, fsh with 80k miles. Got timing belt and wp done. Suspected it was a little down on power so had dyno test done and results pretty disappointing as you can seeCar runs well,no warning lights or fault codes. Replaced plugs with ngk iridium and also r8 coil pack but don't think it made any difference. Also checked cam follower which looks perfect.
Any other common causes for this kind of power loss. Just want it back to factory soec
Lewo:
Wow, lost about 50 horses there... Can't advise anything really and I'm no good with the spanners lol but is the timing correct, compression etc?
Dcra:
Yeah, pretty sure all good there. As I say,car seems to run fine, pulls through all the gears but obviously not where it should be.
GVK:
Check the diverter valve , it's on the turbo on the K03 cars
Dcra:
Will do,thanks.
