Instrument cluster screen

My instrument cluster screen has gone faulty ever since i got it. If im lucky the screen flickers on and off but displays an "error" where the odometer is. Most the timethe screen is iust plain red though. Anyone experienced this before or have solutions. I had it looked at briefly and he said it might be an internal issue.
