Power folding mirror modules.

GTI 500:
Bought some power folding mirrors for my 2005 GTI (from a 2006 car), can someone confirm if these are compatible for my car & if they can be coded to fold on the key & when the car is locked.
module numbers, motor numbers 1K0 959 701L & 702L,
Black module numbers 1K0 959 792H & 793H,
Any info would be great.

The ones you got should support power folding but to get them to fold in/out by locking the car? I think you need mk6 modules for that. And if your car is pre 2007, good luck with the wiring!

OK, so fitted the Power folding mirrors today, all working as they should without having to code them in, does that sound write or should i  go inti VCDS and press the "do it " button even though they work??

I'd go into VCDS just to look through all the options there and make sure it's coded according to your specs.
