I was a fan of the original and remakes can sometimes be very hit and miss.. but OMG this new series is good!  :congrats:

Considering i'm aware of the story line from the 80's these programs still have me totally glued

No, but think I should, I thought it was the original series, which I loved as a kid growing up. Thanks for the heads up VC.

I've caught this a couple of times now by accident cos the Mrs said something about it being a remake of an old series or something like that and does seem a good watch, just need to remember to set the Sky+

Ive been watching Pacific and just not got hooked by it like i did with Band Of Brothers, maybe its because this time they focus on less characters?

V however has me chomping at the bit from episode to episode  :party:

I remember the old series which was good but seemed to go on for too long.
