The fog lights have been enabled via VAGCOM (VCDS) to that they illuminate via the steering wheel angle:

Quite cool. Fiat Brava's, most new Mercs and the ok spec MK6 golfs seem to have these to name a few.

I need a new module controller to do this though :chicken:

I activated mine over a year ago and turned them off the next day. Couldn't even tell they were on. It just makes you look like you have a fog light out on the other side!

one of lifes little annoyances

like when the xenon's are on the amount of oncoming traffic that like to blind you by flashing at you thinking you have highbeam on... or those in front who try to tell you the same by flashing their hazards and then turning their fogs on to get their point across  :fighting:

I had a spot of that last night.
Just let them have the full main beam so they know the difference.  :innocent:

Not a bad little feature this - does it make any difference for vision when cornering?
Whats needed to be able to use this feature? Can it be enabled via the Highline? Im guessing not?

You can see it but hardly makes a difference LOL, you need VCDS to enable

£245.66 for the module (3C8 937 049 AB) but I didn't get a quote for fitting. I don't think it'd be cheap, probably a day at a guess?
Ring up and ask as I'd be intrigued to know tbh.

This is what you have to do to fit the controller however;
