7hour cleaning and then it rains!
Richn83:
That was hand polishing Rob, and it started hurting
Yeah definately better at the end, and I can now appreciate the benefit of all that waxing :happy2:

Seen the pics on laptop now. Very tight beading! Some nice pics.
How long did it take to polish by hand?
Nasir:
Looking good, with the wax though it won't leave as much dirt? As opposed to poorly waxed?

Cheers bud, it wasnt a proper polish (cutting commpund finishing etc) just used Autoglym super resin, think it has some cutting action, and certainly helped with the lighter swirl marks, and removing any of the stubborn bug splatters my amateur claying didnt get would say that it took about an hour as I went over some section a second time. :stupid:

What I meant by that, went out for a drive after, and by that point there was enough water for spray, but once back I looked at the reear of the car and rather than a completely plastered rear, the rain had rinsed all the mud and dirt down to the base of the boot on the bumper lip, so a bucket of water got the rear looking clean again!
The whole car just feels smooth and slippery to the touch its really quite amazing. :pomppomp:
