York 1/4 mile day - 31st May???

<< < (17/34) > >>

Hurdy:
Well, I managed to get there around 2.15pm and sat straight in the queue till 4.30pm and managed....................2 runs :fighting:
The organisation in the afternoon went downhill fast methinks :sad1:

Great to see Neil, Rich and a few others. 1st run I was against an RS4, which I slaughtered as it has one of those old fashioned things called a manual gearbox and the owner managed to miss a gear

1st run I bogged it a little and did a 13.1 and the second run was better, but still not a perfect launch. I think the timing is pulling a little at the top end too with the agressive 9 boost setting and the day was quite warm too (20oC on the car guage). Anyways, I digress.......finally in the 12's..........

  :pomppomp: :pomppomp: :star: :pomppomp: :pomppomp:

If I'd managed a few more launches I reckon it would have been under 12.8 quite easily, but at 4.30pm they were still letting the American scrap cars down. :indifferent:

Rich:
Was a fooking awesome day... i loved it !!!!

I performed astonishing,

My times were;

Run 1.. 13.569 @ 106.89 MPH - 2.429 60ft
Run 2.. 13.982 @ 107.14 MPH - 2.707 60ft
Run 3.. 13.621 @ 106.57 MPH - 2.443 60ft
Run 4.. 14.363 @ 106.63 MPH - 3.164 60ft - bad run
Run 5.. 14.073 @ 108.15 MPH - 2.612 60ft
Run 6.. 13.537 @ 106.45 MPH - 2.411 60ft

My last run was the best,

Hurdy left same time as me, he hit 12.9 secs on his last run!!! - he was very very pleased...

Jabballa was very dissapointed, as hurdy was saying, he needs to improve his map and get around all the sensors the ED30 engine has.. then i think we'll see some good figures - hope you get it sorted soon Luke...

Me and Jaballa had a race, i beat him just    -  but he did set of late, so wasn't really fair :innocent:

I think i have the Drag race in my blood now... was so addicting  :rolleye:
