Got some F1 Assymetrics I think im going to put on the rear and have 2 pairs of 888s for the front

....You going to mix F1 Asymmetrics with 888's? :scared:

Bad Idea? :sad1:

....I'm not sure except that if you use ESP it'll go crazy because of such different tyres. If ESP Off.. I'm still unsure how your car will handle. Anyone else got a view?
NB07:
im no expert but id imagine having far more grip on the front would cause the back end to step out and that cant be safe when gining it beans round a corner.
Tfsi_Mike:
Looks like 888s all round then

its not that bad an idea mike, m personally id do it, but im quite confident that i can control it when it happens. you need to ask yourself wil you react to it correctly.
its easily sorted though. get some geo done on he car, and get them to add a little more negative camber on the rear of the car. that will give it more grip and it will be less likely to snap into oversteer.
In fact you said you are going to wheels in motion. those guys are the mutts nuts at geo setup, tell them you ant to put R888s on the front, and you dont want to get to much oversteer, and they will square it away for you.

The car feels like hard work at the moment. A mix of worn rear tyres and the trauma the front suspension gets with the horrendous roads back home. However with it tightened up and realigned Id be fairly confident in keeping it inline.
Is a good idea to discuss with them that setup. Other wise ill get another pair of F1s for when I kill the R888s
