we need more teaser info though, like how much sooner boost seems to come in, and how much the lower rev range power is improved etc etc etc

You'd be supprised, with the new S3 cooler i haven't seen anything over 21 degrees intake temperature yet whilst on the dyno.
Boost looks like it comes in about 250rpm later, due to the larger compressor wheel. Remember we're putting a bigger turbo on, so its bound to spool later.

Mainly the box to be honest, i know theres some people running high torque through the boxes but i'd rather go for around 350-360ft-lb of torque with a nice curve rather than peak figures .

Not when they're mapped :)

i was thinking the cut back turbines might have made it boost earlier, but i guess it means it will boost for longer rather than earlier

I think with such a peak torque ,except the box,the rods are also in danger.
Here in Greece we have seen some examples of rods getting C figure
The smoother the t.curve is,the more reliable engine you get.
Are you going to do something with the wastegate(forge?).
Congrats with your project :congrats:

Definately the way forward mate. I know that Jonny had a similar power selivery on his 3076R. Less peak torque, more top end power.. :happy2:
