New GTI driver and loving it

Hello everyone!
After 10 years of driving my MGF I finally had to let it go but since getting my GTI I've not looked back.
Even got stopped by the police for the first time ever just driving home from work today! Not for speeding though! Do GTI drivers get stopped much when just driving around?

Welcome aboard Katy  :happy2: Glad you are happy and I am sure that it will provide you with endless miles of pleasure. Think police stoppages is dependant on locality, have never been stopped around where I live. :happy2:

Never been stopped in Golf.....although was frequently followed by the feds in my VXR Vectra... :wink:

hello and welcome. dont worry i got followed by the police for aaages the other week! first time tho. i often get looks (but thats cos when im driving it looks like a 13 year olds driving ha)

Hi Katy. I had an MG  a while back & the GTI is just miles better in every way,had mine close to a year now & still love it just as much as the day i picked it up.
