Correct, although I had heard that the FISCON kit didn't work with the MFSW at one point but I believe that has been fixed since.
vRStu:
You can normally recode the steering wheel controller so that the OEM units will work with the star button.

Has anyone used or had experience of a company called Sat Nav Systems? They supply a OEM bluetooth kit (see www.satnavsystems.com/vw-universal-bluetooth.html for details) that fully integrates with the RNS-510 and RED DIS (and displays additional info as mentioned elsewhere) and can also upgrade the mic so it's installed in the overhead unit. The down side is that they want best part of 600 notes for installation etc! They do offer a 3yr on-site warrenty but me thinks that's a little steep. Anyone got a view?

^^ That's a Fiscon kit they are selling :happy2:

SteveP; Thanks for clarifying the kit but what about the price? Does it sound right? I've seen other suppliers installing Bluetooth for around the £ 500 mark which i thought was steep, though to be fair they didn't seem as good as this one (hidden mic, extra display etc).
