No, you're probably thinking of Greg Howell's. It is very much the same.

They can be had for way less than 20k if you ignore the dreamers on Pistonheads.

CSL FTW for me Mat. As great a car as the Porker is, if I bought a early 996 I would feel to much like someone who has remortgaged their house to get there first Porche now that the prices on them are within reach (just).  
Thankfully you're a petrolhead that will be buying it for what it is and it's capabilities. But that are quite a few early 996s turning up round our way with owners who have bought them solely as a driveway ornament/status symbol rather for what they are all about..
CSL is just different and knowing how much you like your track days etc, IMO would be ideal. Especially with a little one to think of too. The 996 may have back seats (as such), but once the liitle un's legs start to grow a few inches......  :scared:
