It kinda just seemed to wake the back box up a bit  :driver:

It's all quite subtle sound differences with various Milltek systems - Nothing to be worried about. None of the sounds are at all boy-racer but just sporty. When you work your revs harder then the sound gets much more exciting.

Mentioned the GTI domination in my latest blog entry

http://www.r32oc.com/members-rides/1095-dave-s-mkv-r32-blog-23.html#post76382

I'll sort another one out in the spring/summer. I genuinely really enjoyed having the GTI's there. I'm thinking next time we make a theme out of it. Maybe R32 Vs GTI RR Shootout. We all go on the rollers and the winning "team" is the team with the highest average power. Now based on last time we'd get thrashed lol but we have a few turbo guys who could make it pretty interesting

What do you think?

Sounds a lot of fun, Dave :happy2:

[My boost leak problem is now sorted but I'm so glad I didn't use Weston though!]

Thanks for the heads up Dave  :happy2:

I can echo your statment regarding the Mich's too

324bhp, who'd have thought it  :driver:  Shame I haven't been able to use even a third of them since then as traction in this weather sucks  :fighting:

....322 miles in greasy conditions on all sorts of roads yesterday, with about 240 bhp and Quaife ATB diff = Not one single case of TC lighting up and I wasn't hanging about as I was intent on testing my car with its new turbo.

:smug:

Joking apart, a Quaife/Peloquin diff could help.

At about £1,500 all inclusive of installation and vat (for DSG), it's not cheap and possibly not worth it if you don't intend keeping your GTI for a while. But if you've got lots of neddies straining at your front wheels and you're hanging on to your car, I'd say it's a very underrated mod.

It's not quattro but it sure does help significantly.

I asked for prices from 3 respected workshops and they all came within £30 of each other. However, due to their experience, VWR were always going to get my job.

The list never seems to end, does it, Nathan.

Very true Robin, but I think were ALL gulity of helping to relieve each other of our cash when we come on here and tell how good our latest investment has made our GTI feel

The plan is to keep the car Robin, as long as the next 'whim' that comes along doesn't mean I have to sell her

The anti lift kit really helps with traction i dont know how much it will help you with something like 55 % more power than mine. But i struggle to get the traction light on now when exiting bends no question a great mod for the money.  :driver:

Robin I think going to blame you for my next desired mod (after the Milltek), as the after the trip out in APS ED30 I now think some coilovers and the anti-lift kit are next on the list, the considering how low there's is sat and with Ed saying they where on a firm setting I was very impress with the ride
