Z4 m Coupe.

^^mate if the S3 poo , what is the ed 30 ? ive had both and audi is a head of the golf every where (i know this is a golf forum but come on ) not going for rs 4 cause the s3 is poo i just like a change , dont want to spend much more money than the s3 and i cant find any thing better , looked at a red golf R on pistonheds all the toys looked :drool: :drool: but £40 k (we ve been here before )

That might not help you in your search! I'm surprised you didn't like the Z4M, Ive driven a few 3.0si models and loved them so I can only imagine the Z4m is just better.
Just go for the RS4, I did after my S3, and you'll soon forget about the S3, and realise what a bland drive it is(no offence but you'll know what I mean). everything you do in the RS4 is such an occasion
Other than that, what about an E92 M3, Ive not driven one, but they look and sound awesome and get rave reviews.

who cares how fast it is as your all talking stock car v mapped up s3 and ed30 its not the same :rolleye: trust me after jumping out of my ed30 into a 360bhp rwd porsche i was like :drool: :drool: all over the floor :laugh: its not all about POWER you know its about how the car is to drive and we all know nothing is as good as an S3 :rolleye: candy :P :booty:

Did you misread my quote, or am I misreading yours, because what you've put is what I said! Speed/power isnt evrything, for me its more the complete package.

In some aspects the 3.0si Sport is better than the M. Some find that the M (especially the coupe) is too stiff and I would say after driving both models a fair bit that the handling on a 3.0si Sport is generally better. And in terms of the M, a Cayman would walk all over it in the corners. But the M has such a sense of occasion with that engine sound, and it looks fantastic! So for that reason I wouldn't buy the M for it's handling.
If a person wants BMW ownership, coupled with the sense of occasion that the S54 engine provides and handling to suit then they should consider an E46 M3! All IMO of course :smiley:

i did like the z4m but i was expecting it to be better so i felt a little disapointed tbh i m not a bmw fan , the car with the roof down didnt make the noise i was expecting either , lovely car to look at and i expect once you got used to it nice to own too :happy2:
