Almost stalling on idle

It's located under the airbox, if you find threads on the catch can kit,it should show you photo's on the pcv. Had to change mine recently.around £30 from memory.Mine done the same as yours has .

Out of interest Steve do you know the part number for the PCV valve? Guessing you had the latest revision?
Need to replace mine as it seems to be purging quite a bit on idle. Could do with getting the new seal and connection pipe between the unit and inlet manifold while I'm at it.

Part number is 06F129101L £26.78+vat

Is that the part number for the 2.0 turbo Fsi?
I was quoted ~£55 when I ordered one on Friday!
I just asked for a PCV for a MK5 Gti.....

You could go directly for the BSH PCV fix system.
Dubtek on here is a trader and supplies them. £65 ish delivered....and you don't have to worry about the PCV blowing or leaking ever again. :happy2:
