so ive never bought one, but everyone swears by them, what are they then?

is this something that you put on the car after waxing? like a top coat?

Hedge:
When I have seen people use them they turn up at shows, spray the car and then set about scratching the paint to death with a microfibre.  :fighting:

I have used it with clay before and I have seen detailers use it as an aid to drying.

thats when ive seen it before most, at shows with show n shiners using it instead of washing their rides, thats why i was wondering if it was more as part of the wash routine rather than a stand alone product as it were

I use Meg's quick/speed detailer to get rid of bird poo or similar marks or splashes, just to get rid of them quickly instead of allowing them to harden and eat the surface. I always carry some in the car.

I don't use it as a show 'n shine aid.

Hedge:
Er what Robin? Just my observation.

On some of the detailing threads I have seen they will spray the just washed wet car as I guess it breaks down the surface tension and makes drying easier.
