My first polish one little issue.

JPC:
it was probably Swissvax clay if it was from malton.

still waaaaay expensive! they must be used to fleecing their customers! haha!

You cant clay without lube mate, thats what has happened. i wouldnt have thought you have done any lasting damage, just lots of marring!

Mr Punch:
Looking back now it was probably not as bad as I thought at the time....However it still knocked me sick

Your definition of marring...... can you describe this a little better for me to understand what marring is?

I am tempted to have another go at claying but I will probably only do one area just in case. :chicken:

What do you recommend ? I could probably dig out the yellow clay it will be in the garage somewhere....does it have a shelf life?

stealthwolf:
I've never used the swissvax stuff. JPC prolly has a better idea. Personally I'd just start off with megs smooth surface kit. Comes with two bars of clay, lube, cloth. Also comes with cleaner wax though I've never used this stuff. All from your local halfrauds.

P80RSY:
I have clayed my last 2 cars with no probs, there is a great detailing shop in chester

Very helpfull loads of products to choose from. :happy2:

If you anywhere near Durham and want to try a Megs G220 to try to remove it give me a shout you free to give it a go.

Thank-You for the offer..I'm from Hartlepool not that far from you.........However I have just ordered myself some Lube & Clay off flea bay  :scared: :scared:

I'll give this claying another go even though I said I never would again :stupid:

We will see what happens, I may still need to take you up on your offer though
