i must be  :rolleye: but i know my car inside out and with buying a porsche second hand its the fear of the unknown and 12k for an engine puts me off  :scared:

WhiteGTI:
Good to hear that you're staying, but I'm pretty sure that the Porsche would have done that drive better than the Golf!

MAT ED30:
i am sure it would but as said why change a car i know inside out and get looked after big time with it and enjoy it and have the chance to play with even more and enjoy more but the porsche is a bit lardy in fact the plate on the car spelt lardy   320bhp 3.6 sounds stunning when pushing on and i do say pushing as i was just thrown the keys to it and told go have fun just bring it back when your done    :driver: ooh did it stink when i took it back  .

Garth:
I'm not massively surprised by your choice. I nearly bought a Boxter S to replace my S3 a few years ago, then at the last minute pulled out because I loved my S3.

Porsches go and handle well, but if you're going to use it as an everyday car as well, I find them a real let down. The dash of ALL Porsches are horrible and I just don't like the shape of any Porsche so far.

I drove a 996 Turbo on track a few weeks ago and the first thing I noticed after coming out of an F430 was the the Porka's brakes were RUBBISH! Are all 911's like this??

MAT ED30:
they are abit dead in the pedal ie no feedback and they have all been like it and i drove a few  :signLOL:
