Golf R vs 135i

i really like the bmw, wasnt so keen at first but they have grown on me

They don't photograph well, at all, it seems to make dents and bows and weird lines. In the metal though they make more sense.
The 'flame' design pings light off in really interesting ways. Risky, and everyone hated the bangle cars at first, but then I think they'll just be the norm in time.
Not pretty, but good looking, fresh and interesting is how I'd describe it.
The BMW power pack is interesting too, more remapped power/torque, an oil cooler and uprated fan - all warranty approved too!

You know what, I couldn't stand them when they first came out, but I was stopped next to one at the traffic lights on the way to work and I found myself thinking how nice it looked.

How is the rear space in the 135i compared to a 3-Series Coupe? Price-wise 135i money only buys you a 320i M Sport, so there is obviously a massive gap in performance, but is the space gain of the 3 that much more? I used to have a 325Ci M Sport - awesome car but was mega-thirsty. Always felt a bit heavy.
tony_danza:
There's more rear room in the coupe than the hatch. I think the boot volume is bigger too, but obviously less flexible.
