I always thought they were pretty decent...havent tested them against anything better on the market but after a remap they are defo not up to standard. Had a scary moment when I had the trial map on mine :driver:
Nice to see someone coming from a Porker to VW rather than all the other traitors on here :P

However, my GT3 is wanting its 4 year major service soon and my GTI is wanting some new boots.
No spare £££££ for me anytime soon :sad1:

Im sure you will love the Golf as much as the porsche but in a different way. as you say, it seems it will suit your requirements now much better.
When you get it remapped, you wont believe how fast they can be!
