sidewall damage on week old Eagle F1 - Warranty?

(1/2) > >>

Poverty:
As above brand new eagle f1 assy fitted to my car, only a week old with 500 miles to it and it has developed a bulge in the sidewall. Havent hit any kerbs or potholes so not sure why its there, but obviously as its a basically new tyre I was wondering if you were able to claim a new one back from goodyear or the supplier which in this case is camskill?

Anyone have any advice before I buy another?

Top Cat:
It would be hard to prove that you have not hit a kerb. But i think they would still refund without quibble, probably a bad batch, so there should be other people with the same complaint.  :happy2:

I would be back to the garage & explain, you never know. :happy2:

Promising replies so far.

Weird thing is my previous Eagle F1 assy developed the same bulge during the winter, but I put that down to the potholes in the road at the time. However speaking to wayne he says he has had the same bulge in 3 eagle f1s himself, but never in any of his other makes of tyre!

The sidewalls do seem soft to me, but I am coming from the R1Rs. They are good tyres but maybe a bit too fragile really.

Will contact the supplier and goodyear tonight and see what they say!

no golf clubs at all:
Same here! and this is the SECOND F1 Assymetric that has done it!

I have a small bulge on n/s/f..........I am living on the edge hoping to change the front two at the same time...

The roads are bad but I am nuts about avoiding potholes.
