I've seen the Vulcan fly a few times and every time it makes the hair on my arms stand up. An absolute great piece of history!!!!!!

....When Hedge sees the Vulcan fly he touches cloth!

Awesome presence! [The Vulcan, that is]

I will ignore that Robin, I guess you still don't understand me.

Visited the Rolls stand to say hello after the show and it was deserted.  :sad1:

Sorry dude, if you'd have popped in earlier we had a shed load of bags to give away, we all left at about 5.30 for the coach and still didn't get back till 10, which was a bit of a downer.

^ I knew this would most likely be the image you'd choose for a new sig!

Nice one which conveys mucho Vulcanic potencia machista! :notworthy:

Just caught up with this thread - amazing pics & video!  Thanks for posting   :happy2:

I went on Sunday but was hugely disappointed to find the Vulcan was knackered.

I used to live in a small village relatively close to RAF Scampton as a boy and recall these beasts on midnight scrambles - several at a time flying frighteningly low above our house. The noise and look of these black moth like shapes in the moonlit sky were just undescribable. I think they carried nuclear payload in the 70's too!  :scared:

Long live the Vulcan  :notworthy:
