Watching a DVD on rns510

Gtiain:
Hi Guys. Say if I'm watching a DVD while waiting for somebody I usually leave the engine running as I'm paranoid the rns will drain the battery fairly rapidly, am I right to think this? I wondered if there was a mechanism if say I just had the ignition on were the rns would turn off if the battery was running low? Thanks for your help.

The Rns does indeed turn itself of when it thinks the batter has had enough, I used to get it all the time when trying to update the firmware on my old one, I'm not sure what happens with ignition on so best to leave it off

I currently have battery drain (separate issue) and if i have the rns on without ignition it shuts down and says
