Vauxhall are to offer lifetime waranty !

S2 Ant:
Lifetime of 100k miles it says, they'll have fallen apart long before either lol

QD MBE:
Sounds as if they have raised the bar, previously held by the 7Year warranty.

I drove a VX Insignia CDTi 160, and TBH it was a cracking drive, better and more involving than the GF's A3 170 TDi S-line.  I was really surprised.

If I was in the market for a mile eating motorway muncher, then the Insignia would be in there, the Golf/A3/Passat would be relegated.  I never thought I would say that about a VX.

Just My opinion, but they do seem to be raising their game.

"Lifetime or up to 100,000 miles".

100,000 miles? For me that's five years then. Kia still beat that.

Saint Steve:
in other words, buy one, but dont drive it  :chicken:

....Six years for me. I guess a 5 or 6-year warranty is better than a 3-year warranty but the inference is that the Vauxhall won't last 100,000 miles.

It's all a sales marketing ploy.. It sounds good to say "lifetime" and many people don't keep a car beyond 100k miles (assuming it lasts that long!).
