Yeh i was hoping for a clear evening to see some of these too - reckons best time is between midnight and dawn, but might see some a little earlier.

Hopefully its gonna clear as at the moment its cloudy and horrible here :(

Tuesday night was immensly clear. Was up at Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley and it was just brilliant.

Perseid meteor shower is normally pretty good if you can get up high and away from the ambient lights of a city, best place I've seen them is from a camp site o/s Keswick....amazing skies
