Maybe but BMW a prodominantly rear wheel drive which is useless in the Snow.

Vag cars are mostly front wheel drive and 4 wheel drive and fake 4 wheel drive and are a bit easier to deal with in snow.

Not that it matters becuase if you want winter tyres then just buy some simples.
