Decided to sell

fooking hell, v surprised by this, really thought you were gonna hold onto it! oh well, on to bigger and better things... Is it still running? Mind going down the pass for one last spin? Awesome car it has to be said, was looking for to what you were going to do to it but I'm sure the next project will be just as good!
Now then, the new car  Don't know why but I love trawling through the classifieds looking at cars. So, do you want a new/used one? Keeping it VAG/German? DSG is a must I take it? Turbo'd too? Take it this time you can afford to have 2/3drs as well. Think 4x4 is a must too, 500 lb/ft through the front wheels is just crazy :jumping: :driver:

how about one of these John

Okay I've locked the for sale thread, so will pull any discussion into here or my project thread :happy2:
Okay, for clarification.
Currently the car runs, but isn't boosting as it should which points to an as yet unidentified boost/turbo issue. Other than this the car runs perfectly well.
Before I even let anyone buy it and take it off the drive it will be spot on.
With 50bhp jets the car ran brilliantly without any clutch slip but with 100bhp jets the car would need the SSP clutchpack for 500whp/lbft.
Other than that someone can simply walk into a 400bhp/450lbft fully modified car for just £3k more than the car would sell as stock.
Remember, this car also has over £3k in audio equipment in it, £2k of suspension mods, £1.5k of lightweight alloys and tyres + a spare set of road tyres, £1.5k+ of carbon fibre mods, £2k+ of nitrous kit, front and rear brakes that would cost £2k+ just to buy, £2k+ of bolt-ons on the engine, a Quaife diff in the DSG that would cost £1.3k to fit, software that costs £800+ etc etc so that is well over £16k of kit (more to fit!)- this is a bargain.....no it's a steal!!!!!

After also changing to a cayman s recently I can highly recommend them, I looked at a few cars in particular a 1 series but after coming from a bilstein, arb and engine mounted car I found the ride a bit too comfy if you know what i mean. I reckon the 1m will be a bit more focused
After about 5mins of test driving the cayman My mind was made up, it a very involving drive similar to my modded gti, not quite as powerful as stage 2+ but handling, rwd fun and cabin noise make up for it
And if you crave more power just speak to parr performance Porsche nr gatwick as they do a £11k turbo upgrade for a nice. 420-470hp on stock internals :driver:
Poverty:
bmw m1 or vx220 turbs
