Some B@stards put paint stripper on my friends car the other day and its all over the roof, spoiler and bonnet, she has a carbon fibre bonnet and its pretty ruined i think but untill she sorts things with the insurance and gets it all sorted is there anything she can put on her car to stop it rusting as the roof as already started to get a bit of surface rust?

it'd only be surface rust, so i wouldnt worry.  before they respray it, it would be sanded back to the metal anyway

Some poor chap on DW got his Mini splashed with industrial strength paint stripper on every panel. Took three months to get sorted via insurance.

I don't know whether it'd be possible to wash off the remaining stripper or whether it'd worsen the paintwork.
