Remap or not
Chris:
The local vw specialist that does the work on my car now does remaps, he's even remapped his LT van lol.
I'm very tempted but is it worth it or leaving standard better
He's told me that sticking a K&N panel filter in too wont cause me any problems with air flow sensors etc.
this is what is quoted from his site

Hi Chris,
You need a reputable tuner to remap your car, otherwise ............... god knows what :surprised:
Most like the big names, APR, Superchips etc. I didnt, and had a custom Stage 1 map on my ED30 by someone I know does a good job (see the 'Ultimate Dyno thread')! And that the tuner is insured for any problems.
There are some excellent tuners out there, and some you would regret visiting.
Mark.

Anyone who recommends K&N air filters should strongly be avoided!
